Dr. Kim Iller, ND, LAcThe Healing Arts Partnership welcomes Kim Iller who joined our staff in the spring of 2010. Dr. Iller has extensive training in the management of all fatiguing illnesses including Lyme Disease and it’s co-infections. She also has clinical training in the management of Lyme Disease through Dr. Ross and Dr. Brooke, and training through the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS), which complements the extensive background she has as a naturopathic physician. In addition, she is also one of the nation’s leading IV nutritional therapists and a practitioner of traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Iller is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and Acupuncturist (L.Ac) in the state of Washington. She graduated from Bastyr University in 2009 with a degree in Naturopathic Medicine, Acupuncture, and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Iller completed a fellowship in Oriental Medicine at the Long Hua Hospital, Shanghai and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China, where she focused on endocrine disorders, cardiology, and neurological imbalances. While doing her clinical studies at Bastyr University, Dr. Iller specialized in micro nutrient IV therapy and continues to train in the latest developments in this field including advanced topics of nutrient IV therapy and chelation. She is certified in nutrient IV therapy and IV port and central line access. She assisted in the IV therapy lab and training ND students for three years while a student at Bastyr, and has recently worked as adjunct faculty providing IV Therapy at the Bastyr Integrated Oncology Research Clinic (BIORC). Dr. Iller has taught and assisted in multiple undergraduate and graduate level classes over the years, and brings her love of teaching to benefit patients in their healing. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the Infusion Nurses Society (INS.) along with advanced training and certifications in the following disciplines:
Dr. Iller has also worked in several health-related capacities. She served as the Nutrition Research Assistant for Dr. Alan Gaby, MD, past-president of the American Holistic Medical Association. Dr. Gaby is an authority on medical nutrition, widely published and also provided expert testimony to the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine on the cost-effectiveness of nutritional supplements. Dr. Iller was also a Research Associate in behavioral pharmacology at University of California, San Francisco Department of Neurology in association with Gallo Center where she co-authored several papers in the field of alcohol and addictive drug pharmacotherapy. She has also served as Director of the EMT program at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. Born and raised in the Northeast, ticks and unexplained illnesses were commonplace, although testing and treatment was mostly nonexistent. She has always been interested in improving the health of others. This consistent thread is what brought her to natural medicine, The Healing Arts Partnership and the treatment of Lyme Disease and it's related co-infections. In her free time, Dr. Iller enjoys cycling, hiking, TRX training, kick boxing, scuba diving as well as reading, cooking and quilt making. Appointments with Dr. Iller are open to all patients for IV Therapy and Acupuncture. Patient care visits for Lyme disease, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and other complex chronic illnesses make up the majority of her practice. In addition, she treats other health concerns on a case-by-case basis.
